The annual blood donation program organized by Wattala Kerawalapitiya Muditha Sports Club Chairman Sarath Krishantha was held last Sunday at Kerawalapitiya Vidyaloka Vidyalaya.

In addition to the blood donation drive, school books were distributed to children from low-income families in the area, with the sponsorship of Rajitha Rodrigo and Lasantika Rodrigo of the Colombo Gold City Lions Club 306/B/1. Present at the event were Vidyaloka Principal Jayanthi Wijesekera, IIS Institute’s President Dr. Kitsiri Edirisinghe, Acting OIC of Wattala Police Kumara Herath, the school staff and parents.
