Jade International School holds grand Graduation ceremony 2024
View(s):The annual Graduation of the Class of 2024 of Jade International School was held at the BMICH recently. It is one of the most celebrated events in the Academic Calendar of the School. The ceremony this year witnessed the graduation of a class of 45 students in the presence of teaching faculty, parents and a host of well-wishers.
The glittering event this year was attended by a large number of family and friends of the graduating class of 2024
The Chief Guest at this occasion was Mr.Dulith Herath,Chairman Kapruka PLC and Mr Orlando Edwards, Country Director, British Council was the Keynote Speaker.

Chief Guest Dulith Herath mentioned “Graduating in today’s digital age opens up unprecedented opportunities. Keynote speeker Mr.Orlando said “Today’s graduates enter a world that is more connected and collaborative than ever, and I am honoured to join this celebration on behalf of the British Council. As young leaders, you hold the potential to foster global understanding, mutual respect, and innovative solutions to today’s challenges. The world needs individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also globally minded and culturally aware. I congratulate the Class of 2024 and look forward to witnessing the remarkable achievements you will bring to the global stage.”
Mr.Siraj Hanes,Founder Jade International School in his message turned to the Graduating Class and said has demonstrated resilience, leadership, and academic distinction, making us incredibly proud. The valedictorian of the class of 2024, Ms.Shekinah Gracious delivered inspiring speech which challenged the graduating class to make a difference as they step out to the world.
The outgoing Head Prefect Ms Yuresha Perera also delivered a speech thanking parents and teachers for their unconditional support and encouragement over the years.
The Graduation Ceremony concluded with Ms Gaindee Sumethma singing as tribute to parents which received resounding applause from the audience.
