Youth Drama Festival from Nov 18

The 43rd National Youth Drama Festival will kick off from November 18 and will continue till December 31 in Colombo.
Organised by National Youth Services Council, the annual festival is conducted to promote young and upcoming playwrights, actors and actresses and other artistes related to theatre. During the festival long plays will be staged at 6.30 pm on November 18, 19, 20, 25 and 27 at the Tower Hall theatre in Maradana and short plays at 6.00 pm from December 26 to 31 at the Lumbini Theatre in Colombo.
In addition to Sinhala plays, the festival will feature few Tamil plays as well.
The entire festival is free of charge for public and organisers welcome all theatre lovers to join the festival. (SF)
