Innovation reigned at SLDF
View(s):The annual festival in its 15th year had as its theme ‘Innovation Island’ and over the four-days featured a packed programme of curated exhibitions showcasing student-led initiatives, design stalls, art as well as thought-provoking discussions all focusing on the importance of innovation and the power of design in many diverse fields from typography to architecture as well as the need to foster a sustainable future.
The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week which took place every evening over the four days saw some exciting design talent in the spotlight, providing a platform for young designers in particular to have their work exposed to wider audience.
