N’Eliya Good Shepherd Convent students win in singing and thabla
View(s):Good Shepherd Convent, Nuwara Eliya, Grade 8 student L G Thenuki Thihansa placed first in the Junior Thabla competition at the All Island School Musical Competition held recently in Colombo.
Grade 13 student from the convent Dinithi Devumini Kaluvirage placed first in the Solo (Senior) Signing competition. The convent team has been taking part in the competition since 2010.
Music teacher Devika Kumari trained the students under the guidance of Principal Rev Sister Mary Nilaka de Silva.
