Lux Mundi’—A Night of Splendour and Joy at St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10, Wattala Branch
View(s):The Annual Carol Service of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10, Wattala Branch, titled Lux Mundi (Light of the World), was held on 11th December 2024.
The event took place under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Ruwan Deshapriya, Rector, and Rev. Fr. Sanath Udara, Vice Rector. It featured captivating performances by the Collegiate Choir, Josephian Alumni Chorale, Teachers’ Choir, Primary Choir, and the College Western Band. Together, their collective talents created an atmosphere of reverence and festivity.
The occasion was further graced by the presence of Rt. Rev. Dr. Anthony Jayakody, Auxiliary Bishop of Colombo, who officiated as the Chief Celebrant.
The service was attended by priests, Rev. Sisters, Old Boys, parents, and well-wishers. Through music and prayer, they came together to celebrate the true essence of Christmas, making the event a cherished highlight of the college’s annual calendar.
