Beragala Kanishta Vidyalaya wins All Ceylon Dancing Competition 2024

With a history span of 76 years, Beragala Kanishta Vidyalaya in Kegalle won the first place in the All-Ceylon Dancing Competition held recently.
The most significant thing is that there are only 159 children in the whole school and the dancing teams comprise 32 students in boys and girls categories. An appreciation ceremony for their performance was held at the school premises recently.
The Zonal Assistant Director of Education, who was present at the occasion, said that it was amazing to achieve such a feat with less facilities. Dr. Kasturiarachchi, Chairman of Kegalle Vanilla Plantation, Psychology Consultant and Company Director was also present on the occasion.
