Nine people were injured in a bus accident near Dawson’s Tower in Kadugannawa yesterday afternoon.

The vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree. The police suspect that the accident was caused by brake failure.

All nine injured individuals were hospitalised following the incident. The bus, travelling from Colombo to Kandy, is operated by the Theldeniya SLTB depot.
