Lanka Chess Mart felicitates top achievers
A special felicitation ceremony was organised by Lanka Chess Mart to honour four outstanding chess Queens and Kings in recognition of their dedication and achievements of chess in Sri Lanka. The four chess players who were honoured are IM Ranindu Liyanage, WIM Devindya Oshini Gunawardena, WCM Dahamdi Sanudula and Thehas Rihtmina Kiringoda.
All four of these finest young chess talents are excellent performers in international platform who put Sri Lanka on the map as a proud chess nation in the world. Maria Popova, the Director of Russian House and First Secretary of the Russian Embassy and Buddhapriya Ramanayake, the Chief Executive Officer in Russian House graced the felicitation ceremony as chief guests.
