The Karamba Buddhist Centre in Puttalam, together with students from the Rahula Dhamma School joined together to build cribs recreating the Nativity Scene and put up other decorations around the temple for Christmas.The Christmas celebrations were organised bringing together Sinhalese and Tamils in the area on the instructions of Chief Incumbent of the Karamba Buddhist Centre, Ven Rajakeeya Panditha Balagollagama Pgnasagara Thera. A crib recreating the Nativity Scene as well as a Christmas tree were put up at the temple.
