Kalmunai teachers felicitated
View(s):Over 500 teachers of the Kalmunai region were honoured recently following the improved performance of the students at the GCE (Ordinary Level) examination.
The Kalmunai Education Zone got the highest results in the Ordinary Level Examination and was ranked second in all of Sri Lanka at the national level.
An event was organised by Kalmunai Zonal Education Director M S Sahdul Najeem presided over the event at Le Meridien Hall.
Eastern Province Additional Provincial Director of Education P Kapteepan was present.
More than 500 established teachers, principals, course coordinators, faculty advisors etc were honored with certificates.
Kalmunai Zonal Education Office deputy education directors, assistant education directors, divisional education directors, faculty advisors, course coordinators, principals, vice-principals, teachers, district education workshop officials and many others participated.
