Starting out with a pop-up event in 2018, and going on to open its flagship store in December 2023, the House of Janaan celebrated its first anniversary, launching a special collaboration with Kingsman Studio and unveiling the ‘Janaan Festive Collection’.
Said Sarah Illyas, founder, House of Janaan: “With over a decade of experience in fashion, I knew I carried a vision that was more than just a business—it was a calling. Our brand is more than just clothing. We are creating a sanctuary that celebrates the very soul of Pakistani heritage, carefully reinterpreted for the contemporary woman.”
A highlight of the year was the launch of the brand’s first bridal collection— in baroque bronze with hand-embellished details. The collaboration with Kingsman Studio further showcased the brand’s innovative spirit, introducing a waistcoat collection that blended traditional tailoring with contemporary design. The brand also had its first international pop-up in Malaysia.
The anniversary ‘Janaan Festive Collection’ is available at the House of Janaan No 1, 33rd Lane, Off Bagatalle Road, Colombo 3.
