Ravindu slams career best 244 as Colts amass 592/9
Ravindu Rasantha slammed a career best 244 to help Colts amass a massive 592 for 9 declared against Ace Capital on the second day of the SLC Major Club 3-day cricket encounter played at the Colts ground. They resumed the day on 390 for 3.
Ravindu hit 26 boundaries and a six in his 348 balls innings and shared three valuable partnerships of 225 runs for the second wicket with Dinesh Chandimal, 149 runs for the third wicket with Angelo Mathews and 112 runs for the sixth wicket with Dhananjaya Lakshan. Ace Capital in their turn were on 170 for 4 when rain stopped play.
SSC in reply to Kandy Customs’ score of 424 runs reached 352/6 after resuming from their overnight score of 9 for 0 at Thurstan ground. Dimuth Karunaratne, Krishan Sanjula, Sadisha Rajapakse and Sasinda Malshan scored half centuries. The matches will end today.
