Honouring puppetry guru Siri Kumarasinghe

One of the pioneering characters in the academic Puppetry Art of Sri Lanka Siri Kumarasinghe will be honoured at a ceremony organized by the ‘Wevita Mithuro1973’ on January 25 at the Maithri Maha Vidyalaya in Bandaragama at 9.30am.
The programme includes an academic discussion on the Puppetry Art of Sri Lanka, appreciating the work rendered by Kumarasinghe and followed by a short puppet show. Also a book written by Kosala Priyam Kumara, the son of Siri Kumarasinghe will be launched at the ceremony.
