Lilani Peter, nee Samarajiwa (in-service advisor and teacher, Ladies’ College Colombo, Ratmalana Kandawala Vidyalaya, Mount Lavinia Buddhist Girls College and Lyceum Panadura), wife of late Nihal Peter; loving mother of Indika (Canada), Dananjaya (DIMO), and Sudesh (BAT, Bangladesh); mother-in-law of Chamelika and Sarasi; grandmother of Vinuki, Nethuki, Saneli, Danuk, Suheli, Priyeli and Suhein; sister of Rohan; sister-in-law of Indrani and Sujata; expired. Respects may be paid from 9am to 3.30pm on 19 January at Mahinda Funeral Home, Mount Lavinia. Cortege will leave for a service at the Mount Lavinia Methodist Church at 3.45pm followed by cremation at the General Cemetery, Mount Lavinia at 5pm on Sunday.
