Nissanka Diddeniya felicitated by Pera alumni association

In celebration of an eminent acting career spanning over 55 years, the Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya, Colombo Chapter (AAUPCC), organised a felicitation programme for veteran artist Nissanka Diddeniya. The event was held on January 10 at the Punchi Theater, Borella.
As part of the tribute, Prof Mangala Senanayake’s Sinhala drama, Sindukara Kavinaluwa, was staged, with Mr Diddeniya playing a key role in the performance.
The picture shows President of AAUPCC Priyath Cabral presenting a special tribute to Mr Diddeniya. AAUPCC officials and the cast of the drama were present on this occasion.
