British Travel Awards recognises Halo Holidays

Halo Holidays, a Sri Lankan-owned travel company, has been honoured with the prestigious Gold Award by the British Travel Awards (BTA 2024) as the Best Travel Company for Southeast Asia.
This accolade reflects the company’s commitment to excellence, recognising its exceptional service and comprehensive offerings for group tours, family holidays, honeymoon packages and corporate travel, it said in a media release.
Halo Holidays offers 24/7 customer assistance, flexible payment plans without the need for credit cards, and is the only travel agency open after 6 pm while also offering a complete suite of services including visa assistance, travel insurance, flight bookings, and accommodation.
Halo Holidays humble but ambitious beginnings began as a dream for its three founders, Shafran Nawman, Nazmi Fouzil and Denon Pollocks. Starting from a small set up at home, the company has evolved and expanded to diverse markets beyond the UK. Currently, it has expanded its hospitality services starting with the Philippines, the US and Sri Lanka.
Apart from corporate holiday experiences, the company has diversified its services to family holidays, couple holidays, luxury holidays, honeymoon holidays, beach holidays as well as last minute holidays.
The BTAs are the largest consumer voted travel awards in the UK, and their endorsement is considered for the results each year. In 2024, 1.2 million votes were cast across the travel and leisure categories by 409,447 leisure travellers. Among thousands of votes, the travellers placed Halo Holidays on the gold award under “Best Travel Company for South East Asia” category showcasing that service standards and the customer satisfaction of Halo Holidays.
