‘Thanksgiving for All’ – a poignant service of thanksgiving brought to a close the week-long celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of Bishop’s College Colombo. The De Lanerolle Brothers with Neranjan De Silva and Denham Pereira at the organ with the school choirs presented a moving musical celebration of hymns, readings and prayers that touched the hearts of the packed congregation of Bishopians, young and not so young, students, and the larger Bishopian family and well-wishers at the Cathedral of Christ the Living Saviour last Sunday.
All proceeds of the service will go the restoration of Bishop’s College’s Chapel of St. Agnes which was consecrated in 1900.
