Bloomfield recorded their second outright win of the ongoing SLC Major Club 3-day cricket tournament with a comfortable 62-run victory over Police SC in the match concluded at the Police Park yesterday.
Police SC, chasing a target of 232 runs to win, were bowled out for 170 runs, having started the day on 6 for no loss. Meanwhile tons by Dhananjaya Lakshan, Sanoj Dharshika and Muditha Lakshan enabled Colts amass a massive 506 for 6 declared against Ragama CC. Pawan Ratnayake (194) and Lasith Croospulle (128) hit centuries to help CCC make a formidable 474 against NCC. The matches will continue today.
