Lyceum Nuwara Eliya shine at District Karate Championship
View(s):Lyceum International School, Nuwara Eliya raked in with an impressive tally of 32 medals at the District Karate Championship 2024, held at Sri Pada College in Hatton last weekend. The talented karatekas of Lyceum, Nuwara Eliya delivered an outstanding performance, demonstrating incredible skill and determination. They clinched an impressive collection of 12 gold, 11 silver, and nine bronze medals, showcasing their dedication and commitment to the sport.
This exceptional achievement highlights not only the individual talent of each competitor but also the relentless efforts and training contributed by everyone involved. The success of the young karatekas speak volumes about their discipline, mental strength, and passion for karate. Their remarkable journey serves as a shining example for their peers, inspiring others to push boundaries and strive for excellence. The team was guided and motivated by their coach Nagendiran and Teacher-in-Charge, Sachini Lalanthika, in preparing the students for the event.
