Romantic comedy drama ‘Bridget Jones Mad About the Boy’, the last of the Bridget Jones series, made based on 2013 novel by Helen Fielding, is now being screened in theatres in Colombo and suburbs.

Directed by Michael Morris from a screenplay by Dan Mazer, Abi Morgan and Fielding herself, movie follows film Bridget Jones’s Baby the first of the Bridget movie series in 2016 and the latest mark the fourth instalment.

Bridget Jones finally has some luck in her life; she has a great job as a screenwriter, her family and a new boyfriend; the fact that he is over twenty years younger than her isn’t the only thing that is causing problems.

Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth and Emma Thompson reprise their roles as Bridget Jones, Daniel Cleaver, Mark Darcy and Doctor Rawlings, respectively, from previous installments, with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Leo Woodall, Isla Fisher, Josette Simon, Nico Parker and Leila Farzad joining the cast.

Released on February 14 in line with the international release by Universal Pictures, the film is now being screened at Colombo City Centre, SCOPE Cinema – Havelock City Mall, PVR Cinemas, Regal Katubadda, Moratuwa and Kandy City Centre. ‘Bridget Jones Mad About the Boy’ is imported by Liberty Cinemas Ltd.
