A divine offering in Avissawella
View(s):Shirdi Sai Baba Ashram – A meditation and community service centre
With profound devotion and a spirit of selfless service, we invite you to the inauguration of the Shirdi Sai Baba Ashram, Meditation, and Community Service Centre on Sunday, March 9, at 10 am at Elston Estate, Puwakpitiya, Avissawella.
This sacred endeavor was envisioned by the late Mr Eassuwaren, a devoted humanitarian whose legacy of service includes the Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda and the Samadhi Buddha Statue in Rambadagalla, Kurunegala. His unwavering dedication to spiritual harmony and community upliftment continues to inspire this divine mission.
Sanctuary of love, faith, and service
The Shirdi Sai Baba Ashram is more than a place of worship – it is a beacon of love, unity, and devotion. Rooted in the timeless teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba, the ashram embodies the sacred principles of faith (shraddha) and patience (saburi), welcoming all seekers of peace, wisdom, and spiritual awakening. The serene atmosphere will offer a refuge for meditation, reflection, and selfless service, fostering an inclusive community that transcends religious and cultural boundaries.
A blessed inauguration
This occasion will be graced by Guruji Dr Chandra Banu Sathpathy, founder of the Global Shirdi Sai Foundation, India, whose spiritual guidance has touched lives worldwide. Adding to the divine ambiance, the renowned bhajan and ghazal singer Shri Raviraj Nasery from Mumbai will uplift hearts with his soulful renditions in praise of Shirdi Sai Baba.
Sacred rituals will commence on Saturday, March 8, at 5 am, culminating in the Prana Prathishta (sacred consecration) and official inauguration on Sunday, March 9, at 10 am.
