Information collection is being conducted online in order to give teaching appointments to National Colleges of Education (NCOE) diploma holders of 2020/2022, the Education Ministry said.

Access to the system is open from Thursday, March 20, to Friday, March 28, for the diploma holders to submit their applications online.

Applicants can submit the completed application only once and will not get a chance to amend the details provided once submitted. Therefore, before submitting the application, applicants must carefully read and understand the instructions given in the instruction sheet.

Applicants can log into the online system anytime using their username and password during the application period to view the submitted application.

Placements will be made according to the merit order in the results sheet provided by the National Institute of Education (NIE), giving priority to the province considered during the enrollment to the NCOE.

Even if the applicant has not conveyed their preference, those who have obtained the lowest rank in the merit order in a respective subject will be placed to fill the essential vacancies considering the service requirement. If there aren’t vacancies available in the province of the application, applicants will be placed in another province where there are vacancies.

The ministry said placements will be made only for confirmed vacancies, and request letters submitted by school principals will not be considered.

The ministry added that the placement of diploma holders is done based on the merit order provided by the NIE, and warned applicants to avoid getting caught by fraudsters who try to get money by promising preferred workplace as the placement.
