Evergreen children fantasy back in cinema

Walt Disney Pictures has returned with the latest version of evergreen children’s fantasy film made based on German fairy tale ‘Snow White’ published by the Brothers Grimm in 1812.
Directed by Marc Webb and written by Erin Cressida Wilson, the Hollywood musical fantasy, a live-action reimagining of Walt Disney’s 1937 animated film ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, which itself is based on the 1812 fairy tale “Snow White”.
Starring Rachel Zegler in the title role, alongside Andrew Burnap and Gal Gadot, the film is produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Marc Platt Productions.
A beautiful girl, Snow White, takes refuge in the forest in the house of seven dwarfs to hide from her stepmother, the wicked Queen. The Queen is jealous because she wants to be known as “the fairest in the land,” and Snow White’s beauty surpasses her own.
Released here in line with the international release on March 21, the film imported by Liberty Cinemas Ltd is now being screened at Kandy City Centre, Liberty by Scope Kollupitiya, Colombo City Centre, SCOPE cinema – Havelock City Mall, PVR Cinema, Chaya Cinema, Majestic Colombo, Regal Katubedda, Aqua Lite – Negombo, Sky Lite – Matara, Maxx Lite – Moratuwa, Ram Cinema and few other theatres.
