Sakino, Devesh win ITF Junior Circuit J30

View(s): Sakino Miyazawa of Japan and Devesh Saravanan of Malaysia emerged the Girl’s and Boy’s Singles champions of the ITF Junior Circuit J30 Week 2 Tennis Tournament played at the SLTA tennis courts in Greenpath, Colombo yesterday. For Sakino it was a title double as she won the Girl’s Singles championship in Week 1 defeating Sri Lanka’s Dinara de Silva, and this time out she got the better of Arzan Khorakiwala of India in straight sets. Devesh too had an easy passage against Mikaeel Ali of Pakistan on his way to a 2-0 win. Dinara and most of the Sri Lankan youngsters missed out the Week 2 tournament due to the G.C.E. O/L examinations.
