Visakha House emerge champs at Dharmasena Attygalle BV sports meet

Visakha House emerged champions at the annual Inter-House Sports Meet of Dharmasena Attygalle Balika Vidyalaya held at the school ground in Piliyandala on February 28. The champion House, Visakha, accumulated 233 points to outsmart the remaining three contenders – Gothami, Yashodhara and Sujatha – who also produced some stiff competition during the day.

The Director of Piliyandala Educational Zone, Kumudu Hemamali de Silva graced the occasion as the chief guest at the annual Inter-House Sports Meet, which was well attended by the students, staff members, parents and well-wishers of Dharmasena Attygalle Balika Vidyalaya. The event was well organised by the Organising Committee, spearheaded by the Principal of the school, Lanka Perera, who was well supported by the Deputy Principal, Co-Curricular, Athulya Perera, Teachers in-Charge of Sports, Chandima Ranadheera and Iresha Kannangara and the rest of the committee and members of the academic staff.
