Lyceum Wattala claims 15th consecutive victory at ISAC 2025

With 37 gold, 24 silver, and 10 bronze medals, Lyceum International School, Wattala, celebrated a historic milestone by securing the International Schools’ Athletic Championship (ISAC) title for an outstanding 15th consecutive year. Held at the Sugathadasa Stadium on February 22 and 23, the championship brought together over 2,000 athletes from schools under The International Schools of Sri Lanka (TISSL), competing across Under-12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 age groups.

This monumental victory reaffirms Lyceum Wattala’s legacy of athletic excellence and its steadfast commitment to nurturing the sporting potential of young athletes, contributing to the nation’s future sporting talents.

This remarkable win is a testament to the talent, dedication, and perseverance of Lyceum Wattala athletes, coaches, and the entire school community. Competing against some of the finest young athletes from international schools, Lyceum International School, Wattala, dominated across multiple track and field events, securing an impressive medal tally.

The team’s relentless effort, intense training, and unbreakable team spirit were clearly visible throughout the competition. Lyceum Wattala secured a total of 848 points, further cementing their position at the top. A special recognition is due to Lyceum Wattala’s outstanding athletes, whose exceptional performances helped us secure the championship title.
