Sri Lanka Bridge team for 23rd Asian and ME Championship
Sri Lankan contingent comprising two teams, Open and Ladies left for Dubai to participate in the 23rd Asia and Middle East Bridge Championship which will be held from April 10 to 18 at the Media Rotana Hotel in Dubai. Led by Rex Perera, the teams comprise Dilanjan Soysa, Jeeva Keerthisena and Enaksha Perera competing under the Open category, while Janani Wijeyeratne, Sarala Nagendra, Badra Jayaweera, Carmalika Mendis, Maheesha Tambiah and Suchi Ratnatunga are part of the Ladies’ team. Sri Lanka will be among 12 teams affiliated to the Bridge Federation of Asia and Middle East alongside Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, Jordan, Kuwait, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the UAE and Qatar in the nine-day competition.
