Yerevan State Medical University (YSMU), a premier government medical university in Eastern Europe under Armenia’s Ministry of Education is now accepting applications for its MBBS/MD programme. Established over 105 years ago, YSMU is approved by the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC), University Grants Commission (UGC), World Health Organisation (WHO), WFME, ECFMG (USA), AMC (Australia), GMC (UK), MCC (Canada), and other leading medical bodies globally.
With over 500 students already sent from Sri Lanka many children are from practicing doctors, YSMU remains the only non profit, state funded medical university in the region.
The official Entrance Exam will be conducted by YSMU’s Vice-Chancellor on Sunday, May 04, 2025, at 2:15 PM at Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo. An informational session will follow, allowing students and parents to interact directly and learn about medical career opportunities worldwide.
Minimum eligibility,Two C passes and one S in Biology stream at A/L.
