Rover Crew 42 was enrolled into the Sri Lanka Scout Association Rover segment, at the University of Peradeniya.
After intensive months of training, an enrolment ceremony was held with Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Ranjith Pallegama as Chief Rover Leader of the unit in the university.
The investiture was conducted by Deputy Chief Commissioner Srilath de Silva, and scarfs were donned on Rover members by Professor Ranjith Pallegama and Director of the Education Guidance Unit Professor Dilip de Silva. Others who participated in this investiture held at the JRDC complex were Headquarter Commissioner Indika Prassanga, District members Subadra Lankatille, and Saliya Dissanayake.
