Lyceum Nugegoda U-13 boys shine at All-Island Basketball Championship
View(s):The Under-13 boys’ basketball team of Lyceum International School, Nugegoda emerged as first runners-up at the Sri Lanka Schools ‘A’ Division All-Island Basketball Tournament. In a thrilling final against Prince of Wales College, Moratuwa at the Ballers HUB, the young athletes showcased exceptional skill, determination, and teamwork before going down by 38-45.
Their journey to the final was marked by remarkable victories against St. Joseph’s College, Wattala, St. Michael’s College, and St. Peter’s College, Colombo—a true testament to their hard work and dedication. Sanithu Ariyadasa was awarded Best Offensive Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance.
