Harry in Hurry

Harry left in a hurry. There were no farewells, no speeches, no tears. But why? The mystery is now solved.

It was that he was asked to go. And by none other than the lady fan, his biggest defender when the Customs pounced on him recently.

But why again? What was it that broke the (with apologies to Emirates) camel's back?

The obvious reason was him being difficult with the strategic partner. The not-so-obvious was his flirtations with the Green Ones, especially his old buddy Anura Bandaranaike with whom he renewed his strained friendship in a hospital room not so long ago.

This week, Harry was at Anura's once again. Doing his number. Crying over spilt milk.

Australians no-ball here

As Australian umpires are playing games Down Under with Sri Lankan cricketers due on tour, Australian vampires are playing different games right here in Colombo with Sri Lankan ladies.

A sports instructor sacked from a five star hotel in Fort for being too chummy with lady patrons at the Gym is now opening up a heath centre (euphemism sometimes for a massage parlour) near a Ladies' College.

Chinese hospitals, British Cafes now Aussie massage parlours.

And for good measure this chum from Down Under not only got thrashed on the road by an irate husband recently, but now is a co-respondent in another's divorce case.
