13 Year old Marian Iresha Lakmali Fernando, the only daughter of Kumara Fernando, an assistant teacher at WP/KE/Gonsalves MV, Pamunugama is suffering from serious illness in her kidneys. She is a student at Holy Cross Convent, Gampaha. At present she is undergoing treatment at General Hospital, Colombo in Ward No.48.

Her mother is unemployed. For a kidney transplant, dialysis and other treatments that need to be done by the doctors, about Rs. one million is needed.

The child's parents request the public to help save their daughter's life. Donations could be sent to Account No. 2-018253-4 of Pamunugama-318 Branch of People's Bank.
