SEC commissioners meet for the first time under new regime

The first meeting of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the new regime was held on Monday afternoon with the new commission members and new Chairman Thilak Karunaratne discussing a host of matters pertaining to the capital market and it's way forward, SEC officials said.

The appointment of a Director General was also discussed, but a final decision wasn't taken, they added. - ENDS -
