Indian Vice President due in Sri Lanka

Indian Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan who will undertake a two-day official visit to Sri Lanka on April 19-20 will visit the  Indian projects in the country including the Trincomalee oil tank project. 

He will also visit the several other India funded projects in Sri Lanka including  three hospital projects in Mullaitivu, Deniyaya and Puttlam, Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath said.

Several new agreements will also be signed between the two countries during VP Radhakrishnan’s visit, he said.

He will also hold talks with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Opposition leader Sajith Premadasa as well as representatives of Tamia political parties including those from the Malaiyaha community.

Meanwhile the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Anis Matta is expected to undertake an office visits to Sri Lanka on Aril 23-24 while President of the Maldives is Mohamed Muizzu is to undertake an official visit to Sri Lanka on May 4-5.
