Indictments served on Bodu Bala Sena chief 

The Colombo High Court has served indictments against Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagodaaththe Gnanasara Thero, regarding an allegedly derogatory statement made by him on Islam, while court had ordered to release him on bail. 

Verdict on Deputy Minister Sarana Gunawardena case postponed

The Colombo High Court has postponed the announcement of verdicts in four cases against former Deputy Minister Sarana Gunawardena who is accused of corruption which was filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC).
