Jaffna Football League will take on Kandy Football League at the final of the South Korea-Sri Lanka Friendship Under-19 Inter-League Football Tournament at University ground in Jaffna today (27). The final will kickoff at 3.30pm. 60 league teams from all over Sri Lanka participated in this tournament conducted on a knockout format with home and away basis matches for all teams to create excitement. Altogether 117 competitive matches were played. The tournament is conducted by Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) and the final is arranged by Jaffna Football League. Korean Football Association had provided the funding for the conduct the tournament in order to promote youth football in Sri Lanka. The winning team will carry the trophy along with Rs. 100,000 in cash while the runner-up will receive 50000/- in cash and medals.
