‘Amaya’: Teledrama with a difference

The Muhurath for 'Amaya' the latest teledrama directed by Sanjaya Gunawardena was held at a restaurant in Mount Lavinia recently.

Produced by Dhammika Tissa Siriwardena for 'Alankulama Films', the second direction of Sanjaya will have as the cast Chathurika Peiris, Bandu

Weerasinghe, Dananjaya Siriwardena, Cletus Mendis, Sanjara Leelaratne, Cyril Dharmawardena, Hyacinth Wijeyratne, Manjula Thilini and G. R. Perera.

‘Amaya’ introduces journalist and photographer Bandu Weerasinghe to the miniscreen.

In the technical crew G. Nandasena will handle the camera, art director Sumathi Kudaligama and Basura Siriwardena is the production executive. Navaratne Gamage is to handle the music in the film which is to start filming on location in Nuwara Eliya.
