‘Senehase Geethaya’: Courage of a woman 'Senehase Geethaya' is a miniplay revolving around the tale of a courageous woman who tries to build her family after the untimely death of her husband.
This twenty three episode teledrama directed by Udayakantha Warnasuriya to the production of Ranjith Premaratne has a stellar cast including Ravindra Randeniya, Wasanthi Chathurani, Devika Meehirani, Vijaya Nandasiri, Kusum Renu, Rathnawali Kekunuwela, Srimal Sathyajith Wedisinghe, Umali Tilakaratne, Gayathri Nadeesha, Dihani de Silva, Harsha Jayatilake, Banu Kodikara and Ranjith Perera. The emotional tale depicting a woman who faces life courageously after the sudden death of her husband, Senehase Geethaya is telecast every Monday on the 10 pm belt on Swarnavahini channel. Camera handled by K. D. Dayanande, edited by Jayantha Ahangama, art directed by Asela Salgadu, Donald Jayantha was the assistant director. Lyrics penned by Sunil Ariyaratne, Ajantha Ranasinghe, Preethi Randeniya, Padmasiri Meththasena and Ariyasinghe Perera voices were rendered by Pandith W. D. Amaradewa, Dayan Vithanrana, Uresha Ravihari, Kushani Sandarekha, Umali Tilakaratne, Kethmini Hasara Liyanage and Ranjan Saliya Perera. | ||||
