Schools age- group netball at Bogambara today

“The All Island Schools Milo Netball tournament, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Netball Association has gone from strength to strength since its inception in to develop their skills.

Affording them to indulge in competitive netball at junior level age group under 12, 14, 16 and 18, thanks to the sponsorship package afforded to the Sri Lanka Netball Association”, said its president, Pushpa Kalubowila.

This year the final round will be staged at Bogambara Stadium today and will culminate on 24.

Two hundred and twenty four teams from the respective age groups have qualified for the final round.

Last year Sanduni Lakshika of Holy Family Balika Vidayalaya (Kurunegala) won the U-12 best player award.
