'Heart FM' for EAP's
golden jubilee in cinema

Celebrating fifty years anniversary in cinema EAP films launches its 23rd production titled 'Heart FM' to the direction of young director Senesh Dissanayake Bandara.
EAP Films and Theatres (Pvt) Ltd has produced many a popular film starting from 'Pirimiyek Nisa' in 1957. Then followed box-office hits like 'Lokuma Hinawa' and 'Dulika' and internationally acclaimed 'Seilama' and 'Ira Madiyama' which were made under the production role by Ms. Soma Edirisinghe.

'Adaraneeya Wassanaya' famed director Senesh Bandara starts with his second direction 'Heart FM', a story woven around the popular FM radio culture. Bandara says that the script is an exposure of popular electronic media culture and its social effects. Senesh is also director of number of teledramas and 'Rala Bidena Thena' his latest direction is now being screened on Swarnavahini channel every Saturday and Sunday.
Senesh is the still in search of two new faces to play the main actor and actress and rest of the cast include Sachini Ayendra, Tony Ranasinghe, Pradeep Senanayake, Mahendra Perera, Irangani Serasinghe, Deepani Silva, Chandani Seneviratne, Renuka Balasuriya and Sahan Ranwala.
As in earlier direction 'Adaraneeya Wassane' where five songs were used, Senesh is to make five new songs for 'Heart FM'.

While Navaratne Gamage handles the musical score for the films, film tunes will be made by Roahana Weerasinghe, Centigrade and Navaratne Gamage himself.
A group of popular young set of singers including Kasun Kalhara, Uresha Ravihari, Shehan Mihiranga, Chinthi, Ashanthi, Kushani Sadareka, Centigrade and Sureni De Mel and well-known vocalist Nirosha Virajani and Mariazelle Gunathilake are to do the playback to the lyrics of Bandara Nanayakkarawasam and Kularatne Ariyawansa.
Ruwan Costa is to handle the camera while Praveen Jayaratne is to edit. Guna Sri Uhan Owita is the make up artiste and Donald Jayantha is the assistant director. Jayaratne Galagedara of EAP Films is the film accountant.
