Acclamations and insults are exchanged under anonymous and unlikely pseudonyms as more and more people join the fray, choosing sides, forming allies. The keyboards click, the screens flicker, as comment after comment follows post after post.
 
Painters in the sky
The beautiful white dagobas of Anuradhapura are wonders of the world, admired by all who see them. However, maintaining the glory of these gigantic structures is no easy task. They need constant care and little known to the public, there is a group of people who risk their lives to keep them shimmering white. Painting a dagoba like Ruwanveliseya is probably one of the most difficult jobs in the world.
 
An IT legend
This is a day and age when technology and the machine have such a say over the course the world takes that it is easy to forget the power of the human spirit: the difference a single human being can make upon his or her environment. We’ve seen and unfortunately are still witness to, negative examples. How wars can start because of the decisions of individuals, for example.
 

Moving to the beat

The night was a kaleidoscope of colour, glitz and glamour, the atmosphere electric, with an overwhelming sense of expectation in the air! The Mobitel International DanceSport Championships 2007, held last Sunday (June 10) at the Hilton Colombo, was not only a platform for the many talented up and coming local dancers but, also for contestants from seven other countries across Asia.
