Clashing of Tele dramas

Nalini de Livera of Negombo writes...

It is very correct, when Mrs. Soma Gunasekera of Colombo comments on TV Times recently, about the teledramas clashing in Rupavahini and I.T.N.

But I have to quote here all the other channels also the same. We can't switch to another channel for a second to have a glimpse what's happening there and also quite amazing all the advertisements begins and ends at the same time. I also like to comment they are very boring and kill our viewing pleasure to the hilt.

Actually we get nothing to watch, other than for seeing the advertisements over and over. I can't understand why. Some advertisement does not give any message. The latest milk advertisement is very crazy. I hope the parents understand they're not ignorant to give their children the productsthat advertised on television.

Well, after a hectic day we sit down to watch a teledrama or a film - not advertisements. We understand about the revenu, but it should be a limit, we can stand.

Anyhow I truly appreciate the advertsement dedicated to the soldiers and the forces. We obliged to our dearest brave soldiers who always act for our safety. It is a very meaningful patriotic message. We adore it, we're forever grateful.
