Moments in Madhu

The historic annual ‘Madhu’ festival was concluded on August 15 with a special morning service held at the Church. Around 20,000 devotees participated at the ceremony. All devotees signed a document requesting that the Madhu Church area be declared a Zone of Peace.

The service was conducted by Bishops – Rev. Don Norbert Andrade of Anuradhapura and Rev. Rayappu Joseph of Mannar – in Sinhala and Tamil respectively.
