Harbour police OIC shot dead

Harbour Police Crime OIC Inspector Prasanna Pathirathne (36) was shot by an unidentified gunman around 9.45 on Friday night while he was walking towards his vehicle after work and he died after being hospitalised. Eye witnesses said a man wearing a helmet had gone up to him and fired six shots with a pistol before fleeing.
