‘Sinansenna Anuththara’ : A tale of two couples

Educated, affluent and self-possessed Rohan decides to marry Hiruni a young girl who has been traumatized by the disgrace befallen on her and her family due to her father's one fraudulent act. Yet Hiruni who fears that she will lose Rohan starts regular quarrels. And on the day of their wedding, the new couple meet Asela and Anuththara who are going to make many differences in their lives.

'Sinasenna Anuththara' is the latest miniplay to join a series of teledrams that are telecast every Monday at 7.30 pm on ITN channel. Directed by Marco S. Gnanenthiran to the script of K. B. Herath, the teledrama stars Kanchana Mendis, Janaka Kumbukage, Roshan Ravindara, Nadee Chandarasekara,Edward Gunawardena and Hemasiri Liyanage.

While the Rohan- Hirinu marriage becomes a failure, the wedded couple yet try somehow to maintain it. Meanwhile Anuthtara and Asela decide to get married but Asela's mother objects to it and he leaves for Australia. At this stage Anuththara finds an understanding friend in Rohan. Disappointed with his marriage, Rohan falls in love with Anuththara. However Anuththara meets Ravi, a young entrepreneur. He is willing to marry her but soon both realize that they are not a good match. Anuththara and Rohan start a new life and Hiruni who hears this gets mad. She divorces him taking all his property. Asela who returns to Sri Lanka too gets infuriated hearing about Anuththara and Rohan's marriage. He joins Hiruni to take revenge from Rohan. But his union has many other hidden agendas other than avenging being let down by Anuththara.

Camera handled by Lakshman Wickramathileka, 'Sinasenna Anuththara' is edited by Marko S. Nanenthera and Asanka David and art director is Patrick David. Music director is Gihan Nisahan and makeup by Ebert Ratnayaka.
