SAFA introduces new award

Underlining the significance for corporates to adopt best practices in Corporate Governance, the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) together with technical partner Det Norske Veritas (DNV) will introduce this new category of award at the annual Best Presented Accounts Awards to be held in New Delhi on December 13.

SAFA’s yearly Best Presented Accounts Awards judges the winning annual reports in the South Asian region under seven categories.

Since 2005, SAFA has included a Corporate Governance Disclosure Award in its annual Best Presented Accounts Awards, where the directors of a listed company would make relevant disclosures on Corporate Governance when presenting their yearly financial accunts.
