'Friends In Action' is the annual Rotaract District talent show held by the Rotaract District 3220, Sri Lanka.

The event is open to all Rotaractors and Interactors in District 3220. The Rotaract Club of the University of Peradeniya has been given the opportunity to host this year's FIA with the help of the Interact Clubs of Trinity College, Kandy and Royal College, Colombo.

The competitions will be held under the categories of Vocal (group and solo), Instrumental, Band, Dance (Eastern, Latin-American and freestyle) and an added category for Rap and Hip-hop.

The Kandy auditions were held on June 7 at Trinity College and the Colombo auditions will be held today at Royal College. "The Kandy auditions were a success with around 40 participants being present on the day," says Amalie Banagoda, project chairperson of FIA.

The finals will be held on June 21 at the Trinity College Main Hall starting from 6.00 p.m. onwards.
Tickets will be priced at Rs. 1000, 500, 300 and 150. The winners from each category will walk away with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.

The judges for FIA are Dinesh Subasinghe of DRC Members, Naveen from Symphony Orchestra, Tilan Anuradha, Jayantha Budawatte and Mirshad Buckman of Paranoid Earthling, all well known names in the music and dance field.
