Jillianne Fernando of Good Shepherd Convent, Kotahena won Gold Medal (05 Metre Platform) and two Silver Medals (03 Metre and 01 Metre Spring Board) in Under-13 Diving at the 35th Sri Lanka School Diving Championship organised by Sri Lanka School Aquatic Sports Association, held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium Diving Pool.

Jillianne is the only student who participated in the above meet on behalf of her school. Her school was adjudged as the 1st runner-up as a result of her distinctive solo performance. She has brought prestige to the school by her performance.
