‘Living Stones', the fourth dance production from by Naomi Rajaratnam's 'With My Feet' comes on board at the Bishop's College auditorium on August 23 and 24 at 7.00 pm.
'Living Stones' is a brand new and fascinating production, which will be projecting the Earths Precious Stones - the Ruby, the Diamond, the Jasper, the Sapphire and the Emerald etc. These precious jewels will be brought to life by twenty one of Sri Lanka's premier dancers - every fact of modern dancing, including Latin, Ballroom, Hip Hop, Fusion and contemporary forms.
As we have witnessed with the part 'With My Feet' productions from Naomi Rajaratnam, one can be assured of a stunning evening's entertainment spectacularly choreographed to depict the story of these jewels in breath taking costumes designed by Lou Ching Wong who is one of Sri Lanka's leading fashion designers.
The music has been carefully selected that will entertain and capture the moods of each dance item. Sound and lights will be handled by Event productions.
Dev Siri Sevana, an elder's home located in Welisara, where admissions and care for the elders are free of charge irrespective of race and religion, will be the beneficiary from the proceeds of this production.
The tickets for 'Living Stones' Concert will be available at the Bishop's College auditorium office from August 6. The sponsors for this event will be East West Marketing Ltd, the Nations Trust Bank and Taru Villas. |
